Final Blog
Initially I was trying to think of creative ways to incorporate our media into our presentation that would really keep peoples attention, and demonstrate the good qualities of the site. I didn't feel it would be beneficial to prerecord and post as little videos to our feed or stories, so I considered doing a remote live streaming with us in another location. None of that seemed like the most efficient way to provide the information, so we each created our own Powerpoint and then screen shotted them to post into our feed.
One thing that didn't work well was not sharing things together more. Sometimes I felt I had something to add, but didn't want to be rude to my teammate by interrupting their part. I think while it was good and efficient to each have our own piece, we should have been more open to sharing together. Perhaps two people researching two topics and two people researching the other two topics would have allowed more ability to share when needed.
I kind of appointed myself team leader for this project as being with three boys who all said "I don't care" too many times to get anywhere. I think our presentation went smoothly and we presented everything as needed so I wouldn't change anything. The sporadic tidbits weren't really a big deal to need to change anything.
I don't think we were hindered in any way. I wish I could have been a little more creative with our incorporation, but in the end, it let us present what we needed to present in an easy, not boring, way.
One of the best things about our presentation was my idea to include transition posts in between each teammates piece. This allowed for a small break so as not to overload our audience with strictly information and wordy slides. As our presentation mentioned, people remember more when there are images!
